All We Need is Love!!!

Everyone is familiar with the phrase or song that says “all we need is love”.  If the world knows that we love is all we need, then why are we still having bitter conflicts, hatred and injustice?  Can it be that we have not learned love the way it is supposed to be?

Imperfect people have imperfect love.  Our natural tendencies just revolve around our needs and interests. Even the way we love can be egocentric. How can we overcome this?  How can we be changed?

There is hope because although human love is imperfect, there is a divine kind of love coming from a perfect God.  We all need God’s love to replace ours.
The Word of God says that with a perfect God living in us, we can be perfected in love.  God is love and those who desire to really live in love needs Him. 1 John 4:16 “And we have known and believed the love that God hath for us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Yes, we can be corrected and be taught to really love.”

1 John 4:12 “No man has ever seen God at any time. If we love one another, God lives in us, and His love is perfected in us.” The Bible speaks about us being perfected in love.  It tells us that we are not able to love in ourselves because of our selfish nature but because of the abiding presence of God in us we can love.  A person who has living relationship and faith in God can be changed from the heart and become a truly loving person.

Yes, all we need is love; God’s kind of love.
